ENGR 3050 - Thermo-Fluids |
Integrated introduction to classical thermodynamics and basic fluid mechanics. Coverage of thermodynamic properties; the first and second laws of thermodynamics; pressure and flow measurement; fluid statics and kinematics; Bernoulli's equation; laminar and turbulent flow; and flow in pipes. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: ENGR 1040 with a minimum grade of C and MATH 1920 or department head approval. Supplementary course fee will be assessed.
