Stress-strain concepts and relations. Bending, shear, torsion, and deflections. Euler columns, repeated loading and connections. Fall and spring semesters. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: ENGR 1040 with a minimum grade of C and MATH 1920 or department head approval. Corequisite: ENGR 2460L or department head approval. Supplementary Course Fee Assessed.
