Introduction to the theory of probability and its applications, counting techniques, sample spaces, random variables and their distributions, mathematical expectation, moment generating functions, binomial, Poisson, and normal distributions, Central Limit Theorem. Prerequisite: MATH 2550 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval.
