PHYS 1040 - General Physics: Electromagnetism and Optics |
Algebra-based introduction to classical electricity and magnetism, optics, and the concepts of modern physics. Required in premedical, predental, prepharmacy, and physical therapy programs. Every semester. Lecture 3 hours laboratory 2 hours. Prerequisite: PHYS 1030 and PHYS 1030L or department head approval. Corequisite: PHYS 1040L laboratory or department head approval.
