EMBA 6060 - Entrepreneurship Management and New Venture Creation |
This course is designed to examine and analyze the entrepreneurial mindset and the new venture creation process. The entrepreneurial approach to idea generation, opportunity identification, new business idea screening, and management approach are investigated and contrasted with an administrative perspective. Students also focus on how new ventures are launched from initial idea through harvest, including the creation of a business plan, assembling the entrepreneurial team, and securing the resources required to start a business. Open to EMBA majors only. Credit not allowed toward the degree in both EMBA 6060 and ETR 5880.
