Introduction to probability and statistical methods with applications to various disciplines. A study of some basic statistical distributions, sampling, testing of hypotheses, and estimation problems. Fall and spring semesters. Prerequisite: MATH 1920 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Credit not allowed in both MATH 3100 and MATH 4100 and 4110.
