HIST 2440 - Gilded Age to Jazz Age
An exploration of American political, social, economic, and cultural life in the United States from the 1870s to the 1920s; topics include urban inequality, industrialization, mass immigration, Progressive reform, Jim Crow laws, and 1920s popular culture. Prerequisite or corequisite: ENGL 1010, or ENGL 1011, or ENGL 1020, or HIST 2100, or UHON 1010, or department head approval.
