Which components of this class—such as lecture, discussion, assignments, exercises, and exams—best helped you learn?
Class dynamic
Everything (except the error-filled textbook) has helped me learn. All other elements have been outstanding!
I really love Dr. WIlson's way of lecturing. He makes things seem so understandable and is very willing to help his students learn the material. I also have learning a lot by having a workbook with homework pages to do nightly. That helps me put into practice what I learned in class.
The hw and the chapter proficnecies. Whatever I don't care about the spelling I got more important things to do.

What about this class could be changed to help you better learn?
A different textbook!
Have the better teacher (Dr. Wilson) have his class not at 8:00AM.
I think it would be helpful to spend some more time in actual music - applying what we've learned in class. We spend one day a week doing that, but maybe a few times more throughout the semester would be nice too.

I am astounded at how much I've learned!
I have learned so much in this class. Dr. Wilson is so encouraging and really wants you to learn the material and understand what you are doing, and because of that, I feel like I have been able to learn a lot about music theory this semester.
I now have a better understanding of music.

Dr. Wilson is a fabulous teacher! I love having the class four consecutive days a week. It has been a great experience!
I absolutely loved this class. I had no idea how much my knowledge would increase over the time for this course, but it did. And when I didn't understand something, all I had to do would ask. Only problem was that it was at 8 am.
