|
Dr. Wilson's class is outstanding in every way. Every class period is carefully planned to present new material and reinforce material that has been previously taught. In critiquing student work anonymously that is projected on a screen during class, Dr. Wilson corrects student errors with gentleness and tact while highlighting what the student did correctly. This particular technique was very helping in reinforcing the musical concepts being taught. |

I believe I learned a lot in this class because of the excellent teaching by Dr. Wilson. Often the textbook was confusing and unclear. Dr. Wilson presented the material in such a way that it was easily understandable and made sense. Also, Dr. Wilson has a keen sense of humor and his witty interjections livened the excellent presentation of the material. |

The UTC music department is fortunate to have this outstanding teacher teaching beginning music students Theory 1 and 2. He provides every student an excellent foundation for further music study. |
